sadly not, i guess rachel was the closest he ever felt to what one could call love, but that quickly shifted into someone wandering around with no goal, no feelings other then your basic "is ally so must protecc". he gets completely overshadowed by all the side characters lately.
the only time the story ever focuses around Bam is during his mandatory power upgrade out of nowhere. i wonder if the writer is slowly shifting Bam to be a monster that rachel feared all along cause the lack of emotion/depth from him is certainly making it seem that way at times. but that would make for a plot twist too drastically and interesting to expect from SIU by now
