    The ending had some punch in it for me  because I was thinking that the mother was also manipulative and using her friends but that wasn't the case instead shiba yuuchi saying came true that the boy has a angel and devil in his life which influenced him and gave him the taste of both world but in the end he did a devilish deed to both .     Root is by no means Almighty, he is up there in strength for the world for sure, but Makoto (while unaware of it) can solo him after a little bit more maturity and training.  It may be another 40+ chapters until we get to see that in the manga though.
