Not only did we get lots of exposition of where Boruto got his info and trainings from, but we also got an entire realm of possibilities and theories opened up which can have some extremely good payoff if done correctly, and I trust Kishimoto
This Koji twist works since we've already established the feats regarding Shibai, and the technological feats regarding Amado. It also (thank god) disconfirms the dumb time loop theory that's been floating around like a ghost, and it works even more so because this is NOT the generic "multiple parallel universes" trope.
The best thing about this chapter imo, is that it gives Boruto's words in NNG chp 1 a LOT MORE WEIGHT, because it implies that no matter the number of futures avoided, Boruto and Kawaki do end up fighting in the end.
Honestly it doesnt even matter what most haters think because they're either stuck in Shippuden Syndrome. or haven't read the series. Or both!
Hellper was damn good indeed! :D
Still waiting for the promised follow up
