This manhwa has a cool D&D Planescape/Underdark vibe going on and I really like that, it's quite unique but sometimes the pacing and the dungeon part of it kinda kills the mood. I hope it does not focus on that (Yeah I've read the title). Still worth a read for sure and it might get better later.

People saying that the elf village is destroyed already, but I don't think that is the case.

One thing is a goblin party raiding a few travelers on a convenient river point, other is them destroying an entire village of elves that has many experienced warriors of many classes and has the home advantage with the forest spirits.

And if the goblins somehow really had destroyed their village, it would be strange that the lock area was still operating normally.

Yes, the goblins are changing and are truly dangerous, but Efl Archer came from a big center of her race, a place like that is not one that a simple goblin raid party could take on.

But I won't deny that something could happen.

this is why Year One is the goat. Yes Goblin Slayer has had character growth since then. But this manga is the best for me. I prefer him journeying alone. the whole party mechanic ruins the edge for me. Its like when Guts joined a party. The lone black swordsman was always the best arc for me.

This was sad though, showed us just how he grew to be a solo Goblin slayer. Mercy killing is tough. This woman helped him develop his sword skills. Just goes to show it doesnt matter how strong you are , everyone is killable. I didnt expect her to loose honestly.
