Season one was a truly enjoyable experience. The story had a fantastic build-up, keeping me hooked from the very first page. The female lead was a breath of fresh air. Her confidence and level-headedness were refreshing in a genre often dominated by more stereotypical characters. She's strong, capable, and a joy to follow on her journey.
The art is absolutely beautiful. It brought the characters and world to life in a way that made me feel truly immersed in the narrative.
Unfortunately, season two witnessed a puzzling and jarring transformation that left me disenchanted. The art underwent a drastic change. Even more disconcerting was the inexplicable 180-degree turn in the female lead's character. The strong and independent woman from season one became a timid and subservient shadow of her former self.
Due to the jarring artistic and narrative changes, I found myself unable to connect on the same level as before. The once-engrossing story became confusing and unfulfilling, leading me to ultimately abandon the series.
This started off well and the story was interesting but after chapter 20, the comic jumps around so much that it’s hard to tell what’s going on. Between adding new characters, switching around the different characters POV and using flashbacks to tell you what’s happening, I had no idea what was going on. I drop the comic after 31 chapters,
I’m going to give the novel a try and see if the problem is the author or the comic developers.
HAHAHAHHA Very funny! Especially her brother. I love her doting brother most. She’s a good girl too, and male lead can be fun in his own way when they’re together.
