Asura Chapter 56

This manhwa is what I call 'too mid it's fun'. The art is mid the characters are mid the plot is mid and so full of clichés you could guess how the story will go just after 3 chapters yet it's still entertaining. It's the perfect mid regression story for anyone who wants to shut down their brain and kill some time.
I find the series well-balanced and engaging; I'm eager to see how the protagonist evolves

Idk if there's anything exceptional here but it's mostly consistently good.
Instead of an isekai with foreknowledge, it's a regression with foreknowledge. Except he only has foreknowledge of big events because those years as an exiled commoner/mercenary.
There's two or three instances of him lucking out but mostly the gains he makes are all things that are believable through appropriate usage of foreknowledge and planning.
Basically it's a nation-building story: most of his efforts are about uplifting his fiefdom/family with technology, money, businesses and military in preparation for the many conflicts he knows will come over the next two decades while above all he desires to preserve the family he once lost.
There's a nice bit of humour, some good action, a lot of business and making connections. No romance, as of yet.
I'll probably switch over to the novel now, it's interesting.
Don't expect deep story,
it's just a wishful fulling fantasy
Act I: Volumes 1 - 5
Act II: Volumes 6 - 15
Act III: Volumes 16 - 22
Epilogue: 21st Century Boys
The first 2 acts are a 10/10. Some of the best stuff the media has to offer. Act III starts good but loses its footing during the end. 21CB is a nice epilogue that ties everything nicely together but still leaves many things open.
Still one of the best Manga's of all time.
9/10
