so im an anime only and i didnt like the visuals so i came here to read the first chapter... and yknow? the anime isn't that bad. the colors and music and voice acting definitely make the 1st ep of the anime as good as the first chapter of the manga. even though the animation of the anime isnt as striking as i hoped it would be (since i heard this was an art centric series), the paintings being colored and detailed, as well as yaguchis vivid imagination and his seiyuu kinda make up for it. so for now, i will just wait for the anime to be finished (kinda sad that its gatekept by netflix T_T) and reread the entire thing once its done.
