Nah, he's the embodiment of the concept of The End. At least that's what has been said of him in previous chapters. In other words, even if he is confronted with the embodiment of Death, Death would die against him. He's the embodiment, or rather a physical incarnation of a higher being who is simply described as the embodiment of the Beginning and End of everything (even though he doesn't seem to currently have any powers relating to the "beginning" part).
(This isn't a spoiler, I have only read up to this point in the story in the web novel, and the web novel didn't have the scenes of his past in Japan. Those scenes are from the light novel, which hasn't been translated. So I have the same info as you guys)
