But I don't really get the whole slavery system, so it's legal but they're sold in shady, hidden locations? And they accept all sorts of slaves, even victims of kidnapping?
You'd expect that from a black market but legally allowing the buying and selling of slaves of unknown origin is just retarded. It's basically financing bandits to kidnap people of your own kingdom, and if they kidnap people from nearby kingdoms and you allow them to be sold in yours, that's just screwing over any chance of friendly relations.
Why? I'm just naming the pedos.
