The festival isnt the problem. It serves a purpose to show how civilized and progressive their city-state is. The problem I had with this chapter is that 80% of it was dedicated to food and dialogue about food. Seemed pointless and reads like part of any of the dozen spinoffs this manga has. Could have easily been condensed into 2 pages
charge into battle my army of puppers. the sheer image of a huge battle axe wielding war hero charging into battle with his single soldier and an army of dogs is hilarious as the mow down over 50 men.
Well, I understand the reason that she was losing since it looks as if the odds were always against her. Due to a lot of the requests she was tricked into doing, most of which didn't match what she was told. In addition to the mc figuring out what the others couldn't.

And in this situation, where the creator makes the main male the strongest but forgets the main female despite being a character as likable or more so than the main male in some stories without raising them up a level.
This series is good if you have never read anything good, but i promise you this is nothing more than a fun trash read. the author and editing team just want to milk this for as long as possible, there's no incentive for the plot to move forward so it doesn't. They literally did a full reset after 200 chapters that is such a fuck you to anyone investing any time in this. Like obviously it's made for kids but even kids value their time more than this, ima still read though
