Stop reading the comments and read this already ;) ... For real, it's good, below is a really good detailed explanation that sums it up better then I could. Personally it's a 5/5 as of ch 6, chill with potential and a side of fluffy slice of life with our residential op catloving blacksmith. As said before, stop reading our comments saying it's good shit and actually go read it dummy.

I mean, I get the gag about this manga but if you really think about it the demon lord is in a very good position without killing the hero. She can raise the hero to be obedient to her, as her adoptive son or indoctrinate him into siding with the demons instead of the humans. If you think about it he has no living family and is living pretty much in a cave, abandoned by humans. The sad thing is once you start thinking this it makes the story less impactful and just leaves it as a gag manga without much story to help it; at least in my opinion.
