On a planet devoid of women, the remaining men have recreated females in the form of androids known as Marionettes. Designed to serve men, these androids have restricted interactions with humans. This changes when a young man named Otaru Mamiya meets a Marionette named Lime. Lime is a Saber model equipped with a unique circuit that grants her emotions. Upon awakening two more Saber Marionettes, Otaru's life as an 'ordinary' man transforms into something extraordinary, thanks to his new companions and their enthusiastic, well-endowed presence. Saber Marionette J was published in English by Tokyopop from July 1, 2003, to March 1, 2004, and later digitally by VIZ Media under the VIZ Select imprint from September 29, 2015, to December 29, 2015. The series was also released in Spanish by Editorial Ivrea from November 2001 to July 2002, and in Brazilian Portuguese by Editora JBC from April 2011 to August 2011.
