Before he had that beautiful sleek long black badass hair. Now he looks like he blowdried it upside down.
But it got better in a few later panels! so, I might end up agreeing? Lol

Nothing wrong with slow as long as it's done with care and purpose. The mangaka is clearly taking time to develop the characters and world, which is something I'd prefer over going at 100% from the gate.
