I have to admit there are very few examples of time skips done right, and most of those have more, let's say... build-up, and it is in the late game we are getting this one.
I hope that Katou-sensei isn't suffering from burnout, she did take that year off, but you never know what may happen to a person in a year, more so when they are already exhausted.
Anyway, this series has stellar plot and construction, and only one chapter to judge a time skip is being hasty, and this is a monthly series so no gain... but, seriously... Shima, you had to become an idol XD?
