Consoling someone doesn't include signing up for a noble internal power war. He's going way beyond what anyone could reasonably expect him to. It's like plucking a random civy and throwing him into a middle east hostage situation and expecting them to turn out to be Rambo in disguise.

his is good read, although it's the same tropes in vogue again (a lil bit of Apothecary Diaries here, some Frieren and other fantasy Slice-of-Life there) but very well written and enough intrigues and trivia to keep you interested in.  Author-san has potential once he ditches that niche and find his own way, and I'll be waiting for his next steps... But for now, this manga is quite enjoyable.  Lovely art too by Obara-san.

This continues to be one of my favorite manga going right now. The mangaka is super cool on Twitter as well. Give him a follow! Fantastic art in this series especially and super creative.
