Mirai no Utena appears to be the story of a perfectly normal boy, Matsuyuki Takeru. He deals with his mother's death and the knowledge that he has a half-sister he's never met; falls in love; and muddles his way through entrance exams. But there's also a mysterious child, Zen, who keeps appearing. As Takeru gets to know Zen better, he is drawn into a centuries-old rivalry between two families, and his real life becomes more and more like the RPGs he loves, until he is literally fighting for his life.

    I don't really agree with the author's views on feminism. While I do agree with the general opinion that feminism is dumb, I do think of it in a different light. To me, feminism is the wrong way to do things, not fundamentally wrong in all its assumptions. The act of balancing by changing the balance of both genders is stupid, as it cannot realistically create any equal chances. It's a compromise between equal chances and equal statistics/results, which are not the same. Trying to get rid of anything that would be an unjustified bias towards one sex is much better, as it gets closer to what is actually equal chances to succeed. It's along the lines of "if a weaker man can't do what a stronger man can't, why could a weaker woman do it, and why couldn't a stronger woman do it". It's the realistic approach. You should take the most fit for the job, without any unrelated consideration.
