Fun read. I cant comprehend the length of time he spent training because how unrealistic a billion of years is. If it was around a thousand years I think it would match better. Tbh I couldn't stay sane being alone for more than a year or so this blows my mind.

Kinda dislike the ending, I'm sure it was great, it's just that Japanese history with all the various names flew right past my eyes and ears.
The one-strike-one-kill squads efforts were not in vain, history might venerate it or forget it. They could be heroes or simple murderers.
At the end of the day, we witnessed their struggle from start to finish. I think it was meant to leave us somewhat bitter at the end.
Ushigoro didn't get a happy ending, nor did he have a happy beginning or middle either...

mc still a bitch but the other characters are likeable and i ended up making it to chapter 74, story is also pretty fun, to anyone else thinking about reading it, i’d recommend it
