His enemies don't even know who he is or why he wants revenge, from an outsiders view he is just a nutjob. The multiple species of this world parallels the different races and religions of our real world, and although this fictional world is not ours, it parallels ours with many similarities. There is nothing wrong with healing their minds, only with overwriting who they are. His revenge is actually pretty weak, and he is mostly just a blank self insert character. I never said the story is bad, I just said it was interesting while critiquing it. You are being narrow minded and shallow, come back after you get some post nut clarity.
