There was a man named Sasuke Furuta, a subordinate warrior under Nobunaga Oda, whose soul became consumed by the art of tea and material greed as he climbed the ladder of power and status. Broadened by the influence of the brilliant Nobunaga and spiritually guided by Senno Soueki, the Master of Tea, Sasuke embarked on the path of hyouge. To live or not to live, for the power of the art—that was the question! Hyouge Mono won the Grand Prize at the 2010 Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize.
