Kaoru is a guy who enjoys playing the field. He claims to be in love with someone else, but despite this, he continues to have sex with Junya out of convenience. Seeking pleasure, they meet casually several times a month, sharing drinks and spending nights at a hotel. There was never any sort of confession; both acknowledged that this was purely a sexual relationship. They haven't gone all the way yet, and Kaoru never forced him. These sometimes gentle, sometimes sweet encounters are starting to make Junya question what their relationship truly means. The jealousy he feels combined with uncertainty about Kaoru's feelings for him adds to his confusion. He wonders if there was ever love involved.
