it looks like the main problem for this release is the shift in translator, based on "effort" -> "determination", besides that I believe that has all the basis for a really strong story: generic looking protag, strong companions who have parallel goals (story wise), top quality seeming heroine, nice pet, and a skill that has continuous/infinite potential growth through pain and effort to fight a giant fret that he (or at least I believe he is) is being supported by god in his fight against the greater evil. quality stuff; read it.
