Wow this is insanely good. This premise reminds me of Mushishi, Kino no Tabi, Natsumi's book of friends, Aria The Animation, and so on. They thrive in the excitement of what comes next and also the banter between character. So many have failed to capture them, SpyxFamily or Sakamoto Days for example. I'm not saying those two are bad, it's just for me they get boring pretty fast. Not to mention for this manga so much stuff is being called back (checkhov's gun) but to a whole new level and that what makes it more engaging and rewarding to read, like the Human Repository details where they know the magician's greatest desire and feelings, or about Konpeito in someone's memory just as a hobby, so on and so fort. Worth reading 10/10
I know they are headed to the demon country and bringing the vampire along so she has somewhere safe to be but... for the life of me I can't remember why shiro wants to go with, or why the demon king is taking so long to get there when she sped over to shiro in line a few days.
Personally, I would not like Yuri in Kai's shoes at all. After seeing that, I'd probably not even try to talk to her.
I don't know if that's how they intended it, but her: "uhh, can't get rid of my need for revenge and I just wanted to fill my heart with Kai's underage seed, uhhhh!" schpiel just makes her sound so fucking full of herself...
I'd just give her a version of the cold shoulder till she had the courage to say what she wants to say straight to me, instead of venting about it to another girls dad...
