I get that ever since the hotdog incident, the author wants the MC to keep their ideas under wraps but how the hell do you have an entire currency system and not know what the fuck a wagon or dolly is? Do you think people just magic buildings out of nowhere without knowing what material transport is?

At this point, Ren is a terribly basic person living in a horribly dumb ass backwards isekai since they don't know what a sandwich is let alone a damn wheel. It was cute at first but it's getting very obnoxious to read.

That's exactly what evolution is, small mutations that make the species more "fit" over a very long period of time. And fitness in this context (survival of the fittest) means being able to procreate (more easily). so for instance a blue bird gets a child with a mutation of having brown feathers, but that makes it harder to see, so all the brown birds are safer from predators and thus more brown birds will eventually be born than blue birds.
