Fun and interesting opening, but then turns into a murim high school plot after 80+ chapters. It’s still interesting, but a lot of the cooler and intriguing parts of the world building get pushed to the side.

If you haven’t read this, then with the current chapter count it is mostly bearable. But once you catch up, the pacing feels too slow.

The manga pretty much starts from Chapter 15. If you could turn off your brain for the early chapters(6-14) then it’d become enjoyable.

Though I have to say, the story is from around 2011 so it’s kinda different than nowadays isekais, in a positive way: the way MC gets a new companion by himself(not forced on him by authority or just because they’re so pushy he has to give in), the depth of side characters. The world around them feels kinda blurry because the story mainly focuses on the characters.
