At first, I wasn't really keen on reading this manga because I thought it lacked originality - you know, the typical story where a girl gets a makeover and ends up with a handsome guy, living happily ever after!

BUT once I started reading it, I couldn't put it down! It was genuinely fantastic! Give it a try and see for yourself. I didn't anticipate that the story would convey such deep emotions. To me, it felt truly unique... The storyline is quite distinct from other mangas out there. I really appreciated how the narrative unfolded.

    I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Oh My Gosh.
This Is So Amazing You Don't Even Know. This Is Definitely Not Your Typical Manga, The Ending Is Definitely Not What You Think. I Love All the Characters. Don't Look At This And Say Oh I Know How It Goes Because You Don't. What Makes Me Laugh About This Is Once You Think You Know the Ending, The Unexpected Happens. The Ending Is Sort Of A Cliffhanger But It Works With This Manga. And In The Middle You Do Sort Of Want To Cry From Sadness, Pity, And Unbelievableness (Lol). And In The End You Want To Laugh (I Did) Or Cry From OMG Are You Serious-ness (Depends On How You Take The Ending).

Seriously Read This Manga You'll Never Regret It And If You Didn't Like Then Wow. You Must Be An Interesting Person!! Lol :)

I GIVE IT A 10 IN ALL SECTIONS!

Atashi Wa Bambi is a unique take on the typical high school drama, packed with jealousy and romance. The story took an unexpected turn and managed to tug at my heartstrings by the end. It's genuinely adorable though.

I appreciated how it threw in a twist towards the finale. Unlike many other manga where you can predict from the start who the heroine will end up with, this one keeps you guessing. You truly don't see what's coming next. :)

I anticipated a love triangle, but what I encountered was entirely different.

I won't provide a summary because the one on MAL pretty much covers it. Plus, the guidelines advise against it... :(

The characters are charming, and the heroine isn't irritating like many others in this genre. This could have been just another typical shojo manga if not for Yaezou. His character elevates the story beyond the usual shojo boundaries. It's a narrative about self-acceptance and having the courage to let others truly see you.

Mai initially appears to be your average girl who gets a makeover and sets her sights on Sen, an all-around likable guy, but she's more than that. She is sweet and strong. Her affection for Sen kickstarts the manga, but for Mai, it's only the beginning of her journey.

Sen comes off as ordinary, and I find myself questioning why she fell for him. They barely knew each other. Isn't love at first sight supposed to be mutual? He fits the mold of the popular bishie in the story. His character has a somewhat cold demeanor, partly due to his private nature.

Yaezou is Sen's childhood friend. He cares deeply for Sen and wants him to be happy. However, he's also concealing something from Sen that could jeopardize their friendship.

The manga is brief, and any additional details would spoil the plot, so JUST READ IT!

Atashi wa Bambi offers a pleasant twist that, while somewhat predictable, stands out for its relatively realistic approach. This realism was the aspect I appreciated the most. The storyline and artwork were crafted well enough to maintain my interest until the final page. Additionally, I found myself empathizing with the protagonist, something I don't always experience with manga. Overall, it's definitely worth taking the time to read.

Story revolves around a girl who enters high school with the intention of changing her image after enduring bullying in middle school. She develops feelings for a boy who treats her kindly, but his best friend warns her to "back off because he's mine." This introduces an unexpected twist...

Story: 9/10 - It stood out from the usual shoujo tales. The protagonist doesn't end up dating the boy she initially liked... I'll stop here to avoid spoiling the story.

Art: 8/10 - The artwork was standard for this genre. Large eyes, expressive faces, and decent backgrounds.

Character: 9/10 - I enjoyed the characters in this story. They support each other and evolve throughout the plotline.

Enjoyment: 9/10 - It was brief yet satisfying. I feel like I could revisit this one again.

Overall: 9/10 - I would recommend it because it diverges from the typical high school romance narrative commonly found in literature.

This is my first review... so anyway, I've read a lot of shoujo manga, and some get pretty tiring because they all have the same boring storyline. Girl falls in love with boy, boy likes her back. Boy and girl date, new rival comes along, lots of drama, boy and girl get together in the end. Typical. With this story, I thought, "This is probably going to be the same as any other." But I enjoy reading new things, so I decided to try this one out. When I started reading it, I was hooked. You never know what to expect in this story. There are so many twists, and the ending is so different than what anyone would expect... well, actually, I kind of expected it a little, but not entirely. It was still a surprise (don't want to say more. Might spoil it :P).

So basically, all in all, this story was worth reading. Some people might not really like the ending because it just stops there. Leaves you hanging. But if you like a story that's different, this is the one :)
