Why is bullet so smart and powerful? Because we need a villain. The anti-hero getting revenge can't be repeated that much or it loses its charm. Like a certain dude renting a gf... that pass all time just speaking to himself. It wouldn't be interesting. Also is the redemption arc really needed? After the thing is over MC will need to turn people back to normal but a happy ending with brainwashed and raped people forgiving everything would be hard to make without lame arguments. I mean. Could you go with that ending? In my opinion MC will die or the brainwashed people die. Anything that will avoid the redemption arc. So people will think of him as a true hero forever. Or he will live happily with the demon lord loli.
