Uvogin is the eleventh member of the Genei Ryodan. Nobunaga has noted similarities between Uvogin and Gon, not only because they share the same Nen type but also due to their impulsive and short-tempered behavior. Uvogin hails from Ryūseigai, like some other members of the Genei Ryodan, and he does not hesitate to kill when necessary. Among all the members, Uvogin possesses the greatest physical strength. Although he prefers fighting alone, he performs best with a partner, particularly Nobunaga, as having someone to protect enhances his combat abilities, though he would never admit it.
In a one-on-one battle in the outskirts of York Shin's desert, Kurapika confronted Uvogin. During their final confrontation, Kurapika pierced Uvogin with his Chain of Judgment. Before dying, Kurapika gave Uvogin an ultimatum: if he lied again, he would die; if he told the truth, he would live a bit longer. When asked for the location of his comrades, Uvogin defiantly told Kurapika to "go to hell" and subsequently died due to the Chain of Judgment. Uvogin's death plays a significant role in the Genei Ryodan arc.
Nen Ability:
Big Bang Impact: Uvogin has mastered his Nen to achieve 100% power in the reinforcement type. He can strengthen his muscles to the point where bullets and missiles have minimal effect on him, and even his vocal cords can be reinforced to cause internal damage to opponents. His signature move, "Big Bang Impact," involves focusing all of his aura into his fist using Kou, unleashing a blow as powerful as a bomb.
