Killua Zoldyck is the third child of Silva and Kikyo Zoldyck and was once the heir to the Zoldyck Family. He serves as the deuteragonist in the series Hunter x Hunter. Killua shares traits with Gon, such as being cheeky and cheerful, but he can also be rude, especially to strangers and older people. Despite his young age, he possesses an adult-like mindset, analytical skills, and pragmatism. Unlike Gon, Killua is highly mature in both thinking and emotion. He maintains rationality even in terrifying situations. Despite his harsh upbringing, he remains generally positive and resilient. Over time, Killua has become more humble and less boastful about his abilities. Though knowledgeable and level-headed, he is not very open and becomes embarrassed when Gon openly calls him his best friend. Character Background: Born into a family of assassins, Killua showed great promise from birth. He underwent rigorous training from a young age, mastering killing techniques by the age of nine. At three, he started tailing exercises that put his life at risk. Around six or seven, he mastered darts. When he was nine, he befriended Canary, an apprentice butler, though she declined due to their status difference. His family implanted a special needle in his head to remodel his character through fear subliminally. Sick of killing, at eleven, he rebelled against his family and ran away to take the Hunter Exam for fun. Timeline: Hunter Exam Arc: During the 287th Hunter Exam, Killua met Leorio, Kurapika, and Gon. After passing all four phases, he encountered his brother Illumi during the final phase. Fearing for Gon's safety, Killua surrendered and returned home. He disqualified himself by attacking Bodoro in the final round. Zoldyck Family Arc: After returning home, Killua endured torture from his brother Milluki. When he learned Gon, Kurapika, and Leorio were waiting for him, he decided to leave. His father, Silva, acknowledged Killua's independence and let him go. Reuniting with his friends, they agreed to meet again in Yorknew City. Heavens Arena Arc: Killua convinced Gon to train at Heaven's Arena. They met Zushi and Wing, who taught them Nen basics. On the 200th floor, they encountered Hisoka but couldn't approach him due to his overwhelming presence. Wing offered to teach them real Nen techniques. Yorknew City Arc: In Yorknew City, Killua and Gon faced the Phantom Troupe. Later, they joined Kurapika and Leorio's plan but failed due to the group's immense strength. They then entered Greed Island to find clues about Gon's father. Greed Island Arc: Inside Greed Island, Killua and Gon trained under Biscuit Krueger. They completed the game after defeating the Bomber. Using a reward card, they teleported to Kite in Kakin. Chimera Ant Arc: Joining Kite's research team, Killua and Gon fought Chimera Ants. Kite sacrificed himself to protect them from Neferpitou. Dismissed from the mission, they vowed to get stronger. Training under Biscuit, they battled Knuckle and Shoot. Killua removed the needle from his brain, freeing him from Illumi's influence. Election Arc: Killua sought help from his sister Alluka to save Gon. Defeating Illumi's escorts, he brought Alluka to the hospital. Alluka healed Gon, and Killua promised to protect her. Accompanying Gon to meet his father, Killua decided to travel the world with Alluka, ensuring they would stay friends with Gon.
