Turmeric is part of CEDEF, making him a subordinate to Iemitsu Sawada. He joined Oregano and Lal Mirch in their invasion of Vongola HQ to allow Iemitsu to communicate with, and if needed, rescue the Vongola Boss. Turmeric uncovered details from the censored Mosca plans, revealing that the Italian Military had sold some weapon blueprints to the Mafia, including one sent to the Varia. After reuniting with Iemitsu, they learned from the fake Vongola IX that the real Vongola IX was inside the Gola Mosca dispatched to the Varia. Sadly, they arrived too late to prevent the Cloud Guardian battle.
