Takeshi is a cheerful boy from Tsuna's class who dreams of becoming a professional baseball player. He spends most of his time practicing or helping out at his father's sushi restaurant.
Introduced as a playful and happy individual, Yamamoto is easy to befriend. He has managed to turn some of the series' angriest characters into friends or comrades, such as Hibari Kyoya and Superbi Squalo.
Takeshi has an athletic build, is tall with dark, almost black hair, and brown eyes. A smile is almost always present on his face, and due to his kindness, he quickly became one of Namimori High School's idols, much loved by the girls in the school.
Although he views many things as a game, Takeshi can be serious when necessary. Throughout the series, it's shown that he is willing to risk his life for friends and comrades. Reborn noted that among all members of the Vongola Family, Yamamoto Takeshi likely has the most talent for being an assassin.
