Tsuna is destined to become the tenth boss of the Vongola family. At school, he's known by the harsh nickname "No Good Tsuna" due to his clumsiness, poor academic performance, and tendency to be easily pushed around. Despite being the future Vongola boss, Tsuna is reluctant to engage in anything related to the Mafia. He consistently denies his future role as a Mafia boss and tries to avoid anyone involved with it. In the Future arc, he even states that he would rather dismantle the Vongola family than accept its violent history. Tsuna is often shocked and horrified, for comedic effect, by Reborn's and other mafiosos' actions. However, as time progresses, although he still wishes to have nothing to do with the Mafia, he appreciates the friends he has made since meeting Reborn. He deeply cares for his new "family" and would risk his own safety to protect them.
There are numerous parallels that connect Tsuna with Giotto, the first boss and founder of the Vongola family. Their personalities appear to be very similar, as both share common goals and standards. This likeness suggests a deeper connection between the two leaders.
