Ten-chan is a shapeshifting nine-tailed fox with a laid-back demeanor and a rough way of speaking. His shapeshifting abilities are so advanced that he can appear as several different forms simultaneously, depending on the observer. Besides his physical transformations, he can also adopt the personality traits of whatever form he takes on and seems to possess some occult powers. The origin of the name "Ten-chan" is unclear; he once mentioned it wasn't his real name. It might be derived from "tenko," which signifies the highest rank a kitsune can attain. To most people, Ten-chan appears as a small white fox with multiple tails when not transformed. However, to the Count and Chris, he looks like a relaxed young man dressed in casual attire.
