Her chair was an ornate, wooden Victorian-style piece. Komo, the only daughter of a Navy official, inadvertently led the army to uncover the children's connection with Zearth. During her battle, she nearly lost until the enemy pilot unexpectedly retreated. This pilot had lost his own daughter, who was around Komo's age, to vengeful relatives of previous battle victims in their world. Unable to kill a child despite it being necessary for his planet's survival, as he had no one left dear to him, he chose to spare her. The Japanese government devised a plan to lure him to a piano recital hosted by Komoda, revealing selective information about Zearth and its pilot’s identity beforehand. Touched by Komo’s performance at the recital, the enemy pilot allowed himself to be killed by her father shortly before the deadline. In contrast, Komoda's scenario is simpler in the anime adaptation. She effortlessly defeats her adversary without assistance, and the emotional subplot involving the enemy pilot is omitted. Her father, now portrayed as a politician, plays a more crucial role, striving to expose the truth behind Zearth and the children. This endeavor costs him both his career and ultimately, his life.
