He was known for his kindness and insight, always willing to offer advice and wisdom to his fellow comrades when they needed it most. Other children often sought him out for guidance. Among his closest friends were Tsubasa, a girl, and Nagi, a boy suffering from a heart condition.
Upon discovering that his heart was a perfect match for Nagi's, Moji made the decision to undergo surgery after his victory. He arranged for Dung Beetle to transport him to a hospital where Nagi could receive his heart. The chair Moji sat on was a plastic one with a metal frame back that curved into a semicircle, identical to the chair in the hospital room where Nagi was being treated.
In the anime, Moji was the first to realize that the enemies were not mere robots. This realization came after an intense exchange of psychological warfare with his opponent.
