Syaoran is a strong and kind character, often referred to as "boy." Despite his cheerful and knightly demeanor, he carries the emotional scars of his past. Adopted by archaeologist Fujitaka, he accidentally arrived in the country of Clow, where he met Sakura, the king's daughter. He now travels with Fai, Kurogane, and Sakura to recover her lost memories, which have taken the form of feathers. However, to do this, he had to sacrifice his most precious relationship with her, meaning she won't remember him even if she regains all her memories. One of Syaoran's eyes is blind and seems linked to the mysterious events surrounding him and his past. **Manga Spoilers** It is later revealed that he is actually a clone of the original Syaoran, created by Fei Wong Reed to collect and scatter Sakura's feathers. Before being captured by Fei Wong Reed, the original Syaoran managed to place some of his "heart" within one of the clone's eyes. At the end of the manga, Syaoran eventually turns against his creator and aids the original Syaoran in trying to save Sakura. However, Fei Wong kills Syaoran. Syaoran is reborn in another world along with Clone Sakura, becoming the father of the original Syaoran. He and Sakura raise the original Syaoran until they send him to Clow Country to meet his destined person, sealing themselves inside a glass tube afterward. After breaking free from the tube, Sakura and Syaoran cleanse the feathers, but both ultimately disappear after Kurogane kills Fei Wong, leaving behind only a feather which the original Syaoran absorbs.
