modoki mokona

A replica of a dimensional god Mokona, created by Clow Reed and Yuuko. Soel was specifically made for Sakura as a countermeasure for certain events predicted to occur during her journey, as foreseen by Clow Reed. It serves as "the thing" given to the Tsubasa crew, enabling them to travel between dimensions. Soel is more energetic and cheerful compared to its counterpart, Black Mokona, Larg. Soel enjoys teasing the Tsubasa team members, particularly Kurogane. Its main functions include facilitating dimensional travel, acting as a universal translator, and communicating with Black Mokona. These abilities are later revealed to be part of its "108 Secret Skills." Soel wears an earring on its right ear, while Larg has one on his left ear. The earring is later revealed to contain a one-time ability to "repel" magical curses, though the exact nature of this ability is not explained. In Horitsuba Gakuen, Soel is depicted as a twin with Mokona. Note that this is not the same Mokona that appears in CLAMP's other work, Rayearth.
