shimura suguru

He is the Head of Personnel at Yotsuba. Known for his paranoia, he constantly monitors those around him.

Shimura's keen eye for detail earned him a place in important meetings. He detected subtle changes in Namikawa's expression during a phone call with Light, who was posing as L. According to How to Read 13, Shimura dislikes his current situation.

A little over five months after L's death, Shimura is killed by Light, along with the remaining Yotsuba Group members, succumbing to a heart attack. In the Rewrite special, he is controlled and meets his end by being run over by a train.
