Spark is a young man aspiring to become a knight, but his past mistake of confronting dark elves alone instead of seeking help has delayed this dream. King Kashue believes Spark isn't ready for knighthood yet due to this rash decision, though he still holds respect for him. As a result, the king allows Spark to lead a group of mercenaries on a mission to thwart Wagnard, an evil wizard intent on resurrecting Kardis, the Goddess of Destruction. Despite his youth, Spark exhibits remarkable bravery and determination.
During their journey to find Wagnard, Spark falls in love with Neese, the daughter of Slayn and Leilia. However, fate cruelly decrees that Neese must be sacrificed for Kardis's return. This revelation only strengthens Spark's resolve to save the woman he loves. I'll leave the rest unsaid to avoid spoiling more of the story.
