Shogo is the main protagonist of "Apollo no Uta".
Having been abandoned by his father shortly after his birth and raised by a mother who never showed him affection, Shogo developed a deep-seated hatred for the concept of love. This hatred escalated to the point where he would kill animals displaying signs of affection for each other.
Following a shock treatment during a psychiatric consultation, he encounters a God who curses him to repeatedly fall in love with the same people. However, just before they can be together, one of them always dies.
