Shinobu, an eighteen-year-old, is the son of the dean at M University, making him Miyagi You's former brother-in-law. Gifted and affluent, he had the opportunity to study abroad in Australia. Shinobu holds strong beliefs in destiny and love. Despite having everything he desires in life, one unattainable thing captures his interest: Miyagi You.
Upon learning about his sister's divorce, Shinobu promptly returns to Japan to confront Miyagi and express his feelings. He earnestly asks Miyagi to "take responsibility" for their situation. Miyagi is taken aback and initially thinks the young man is out of his mind. However, he soon realizes that Shinobu is utterly serious and willing to do anything to win his love.
