Misaki is an 18-year-old student living with his older brother Takahiro. He lost his parents in a car accident when he was eight and has been raised by his brother ever since. Misaki feels deeply responsible for their parents' death, as well as for the fact that Takahiro had to abandon his studies and start working to support him.
Struggling academically and needing serious help to attend the college of his choice, Takahiro asks his best friend, Usami Akihiko, to tutor Misaki. Due to a sudden job transfer, Takahiro moves to another town, leaving his beloved younger brother in Usami's care.
Misaki has never dated or fallen in love before. When he realizes he has developed feelings, it's already too late for him to turn back. The fact that he has fallen for a man leaves him in complete denial of his emotions.
