Seaquant is a Blacklist Hunter who once served as an adversary to the Zoldyck Family. Three years prior to the story's start, he led an assault on the Zoldyck estate at Kukuroo Mountain with a group of 100 henchmen. However, they were all defeated by Canary, a ten-year-old trainee butler at the time. This shocking defeat led him to plead for a position as a servant of the Zoldycks. Currently, Seaquant enjoys a close friendship with Zebro, the elderly groundskeeper of the Zoldyck estate.
Seaquant first appears when Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika are seeking a way to meet Killua at the Zoldyck estate. He and Zebro offer the trio lodging in their house and allow them to train using heavy equipment until they can open the Testing Gate. Following Chairman Netero's death, Seaquant makes an appearance at the Hunters Association headquarters to take part in the election for the new Hunter Chairman.
