sasami

A member of the Department of Self-Defense, Sasami effectively serves as Seki and Tanaka's boss. He coordinates all Zearth-related activities within the Government. Upon receiving Komo's information about the kids' connection to Zearth, he arranged for their military pickup. Throughout the story, Sasami has undertaken various behind-the-scenes roles.

In the manga, he has appeared in Zearth's cockpit a few times to monitor the situation. Sasami was present during Ushiro's battle, providing support and reacting with horror to Ushiro's revelation about his necessary actions. After the final battle, Sasami takes on the role of Koyemshi to guide the next group of people in the subsequent world.

An extra in the artbook released after the ending reveals that Sasami successfully supported the next universe and safely returned to his own universe.
