During her elementary school years, Amamiya acted as a mediator between Ageha and Asaga. She was always smiling and cheerful, known for being bright, intelligent, and extremely popular. However, as she matured, she developed a growing sense of disgust towards the world around her. To escape this feeling, she participated in the Psyren Survey. After returning from her first visit, her personality shifted significantly towards a darker perspective on life. Despite being nicknamed "The Ice Princess" and having a cold demeanor, she still found joy in certain aspects of life, such as Matsuri Sensei's music and, later on, Ageha. When Ageha went to Psyren and saved her, she grew more attached to him, though she could still maintain her "Ice Princess" reputation. When she is exhausted or extremely angry, her eyes widen and become blank, and she utters cruel words that terrify others. Due to Usui's Delete Spider, her memories were altered slightly, intensifying her cold-hearted personality, which had been present since her initial visits to Psyren. Yandere Amamiya, known as Abyss, has a vicious personality and derives pleasure from violence and bloodshed. If not for Ageha, she might have committed countless murders. Both Tsundere (calm and normal) and Yandere (wild and mean) versions of Amamiya have feelings for Ageha. However, Abyss is particularly drawn to Ageha's "strong and dangerous" side. She often refers to him as her "beloved" and bluntly expresses her love for him. Yet, if Ageha says something wrong, she may attempt to kill him.
