The primary antagonist.
Miroku Amagi, a mysterious young man who harbors a deep hatred for all humans and dreams of a world exclusively inhabited by psychicer users. To realize this vision, he established the organization W.I.S.E., through which he managed to steer the asteroid Orouborous towards Earth, dramatically reshaping the planet into a new world. This future world, known to survivors as Psyren, is home to creatures called Tavoo.
As a child, Amagi was an orphan described by Kouichi Iba as a cooperative and cheerful boy who willingly participated in Grigori's experiments. He obeyed because he was deceived into believing that, in exchange for the testing, he would eventually live with his twin sister and parents outside. His twin sister is the same woman who created Nemesis Q. However, as he grew older, he could no longer believe their lies. Gradually, he became emotionless, only speaking to Iba. On his 18th birthday, he convinced Iba to deactivate his helmet, which controlled his powers, and went on a rampage, killing everyone at Grigori except Iba and the other Psychicers being experimented on. This event left him disgusted with humanity, leading him to desire their destruction, leaving only Psychicers to rule the world. He displays a cold-hearted demeanor, showing little sadness over the deaths of his subordinates Dholaki and Yusaka, only some surprise at their defeats. He does not hesitate to eliminate other Psychicers if they stand in his way.
In the future, Amagi remains largely unseen. He leaves W.I.S.E. under the management of Grigori #01, now calling himself Grana, who also leads the Star Commanders.
