A local playboy who appears to spend his time pursuing attractive women. Once, when he was caught, he fell to his knees and begged for mercy, offering various excuses for his actions such as 'never feeling loved before' and claiming he lost both his parents (though this seems true) before dismissing his words as a joke and escaping again. Kabuto has incredible eyesight, allowing him to see his uncle's cabin in the mountains from the top of a city roof. He goes to Psyren to try to make his fortune. Among the new arrivals during the group's second trip to Psyren, he was the only one who listened to Amamiya's instructions, likely due to his affections for her. Dholaki mentioned that Kabuto possesses the power of precognition. He was able to anticipate an attack from Dholaki and adjusted his position to avoid it. This ability is proven in the story when Kabuto states he can perceive the "threat of death." Dholaki calls this PSI ability "Menace," which can only be achieved by those with exceedingly strong Trance and a strong sense, a type of Rise. Unfortunately, because Kabuto neglected his rise training, he is unable to physically keep up with his visions well.
