fujinami ryuunosuke

A transfer student at Tomobiki High School, Class 2-4. She is a girl, but due to her father's insistence that the successor to the Hamachaya must be male, he raises Ryuunosuke as a boy and insists she is one. Raised as a boy to eventually run the Hamachaya, she exhibits many masculine traits and can be quite aggressive. However, she deeply resents being treated like a boy since she is actually a girl. She longs to express her feminine side, but her father constantly thwarts her efforts. Her first crush was on her elementary school teacher, whom she later discovers was a woman. Ataru Moroboshi is the only one who truly treats her as a girl, but she reacts to his advances much like other girls do: with a strong left hook, though it never seems to deter him.
