ryuu-ou

Ryuu-ou is the Bushinshou of the West and the new King of the Ryuu clan. He is known for his energetic and easy-going nature. Unlike other members of Yasha-ou and Ashura's group, Ryuu-ou doesn't have a personal vendetta against Taishaku-ten. Instead, he joined the group because it seemed like a fun adventure and he wanted to get some combat practice.

Ryuu-ou met his end in volume 9 of the manga. He went after Ashura, who had run off to chase his mother. However, Ryuu-ou was ultimately killed by "real Ashura," the destructive alter ego of Ashura who seeks to destroy everything. Before dying, Ryuu-ou apologized to Ashura, saying he could no longer keep his promise to protect him.
