Ryuu is exceptionally intelligent, and his mysterious past connects him to an organization called Pluto. After his parents' death, Pluto provided for him. Throughout his childhood, he was isolated from others, never permitted to socialize. He frequently saw his home as more of a prison than a sanctuary.
