Prinnies are a type of creatable character found in Nippon Ichi's Makai Senki Disgaea/Disgaea: Hour of Darkness, Makai Senki Disgaea 2, and Makai/Phantom Kingdom. These penguin-like beings can not only engage in hand-to-hand combat with foes but also explode upon impact when thrown at anything or anyone. If other Prinnies are nearby, anticipate a chain reaction of explosions. The lore behind Prinnies states that humans who have lived "worthless" lives transform into Prinnies after death. They must then work either in the Netherworld or Celestia to atone for their past actions, with reincarnation as their ultimate goal. Various types of Prinnies exist, including Captain Prinnies, Prinny Kings, and even unique versions of certain story characters you may encounter.
